WALK DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever wondered what the (almost) completely rebuilt old town looks like? Warsaw is a perfect example of this. Inscribed on the UNESCO list in 1980, it hides many stories, both sad, joyful and mysterious.

During the walk, we will delve into the streets of the Old Town and discover people who added splendour to these places with their presence.

We will see the most important monuments from the so-called classics: Sigismund's Column, Royal Castle, Monument to the Mermaid, Barbican, Presidential Palace, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and many other objects.

In the Old Town, we will look for the Basilisk and in Krakowskie Przedmieście the fortune-tellers of His Majesty Stanisław August.

Finally, we will find time for a moment of reflection to consider what Warsaw looked like before World War II.

WARSAW, IN A NUTSHELL, is a perfect walk for the first meeting with the city, but also for rediscovering the beauty of the Polish capital.
